The theatre department in the College of Arts and Media is ideal for collaborative artists and dedicated performers. Offering opportunities in performance, production and theatre studies, the program is grounded in a foundation of theatrical craft and creative expression. As a part of CAM, theatre students have opportunities to collaborate across artistic disciplines. Through hands-on productions, faculty mentorship and immersive education, students have the opportunity to graduate with confidence, versatility and industry-ready skills.

Auditions & Scholarships

For acceptance into the dance, theatre and music programs in the College of Arts and Media, you are required to complete an audition.
In order to audition you must have applied and been accepted into GCU. Auditions not only allow faculty to gauge your level of skill and experience but are also used as a basis for awarding scholarships. Audition requirements and processes vary by program.
